We’re proud to announce the launch of the Global Migration Law Hub (GMLH), an initiative of Younous Arbaoui supported by our Amsterdam Centre for Migration and Refugee Law at VU University Amsterdam.
The GMLH provides a dynamic platform where stakeholders from around the world can collaborate, debate and engage on key issues related to the functioning of the global migration law system. In this regard, the HUB is pleased to work closely with its partners, the United Nations’ Committee on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of their Families (CMW), the Centre for Migration and Refugee Studies (CMRS), American University Cairo and the Centre For Global Studies (CGS), Univérsité International Rabat.
The GMLH aims to promote cross-fertilisation between academic research and practical action by bringing together universities, practitioners, civil society, international and regional organisations and UN treaty bodies to strengthen the protection of migrants’ rights worldwide.
Through its work as a:
- Knowledge Hub, connecting stakeholders to cutting-edge research on migration law.
- Cross-Fertilisation Lab, the GMLH facilitates open debate and problem-solving for the global migration system.
- Training Forum, the GMLH provides valuable resources and training to promote better cooperation in the protection of migrants’ rights.
We invite everyone interested to explore the website page and engage with the growing community.
