The students of the Migration Law Clinic had the pleasure to welcome CJEU judge Sacha Prechal as a guest lecturer. Students of the LLM International Migration and Refugee Law attended, along with researchers of the ACMRL.
She presented in detail the legal proceedings of the Court of Justice of the EU, explaining what happens once cases are filed at the Court, and how they are processed. The students of the Clinic were able to have valuable first-hand insight into what happens to the types of cases they work on and the numerous steps they go through before a judgment is published, as well as the typical work involved in being a judge at the CJEU.
